DESCRIPTION:Open Forum: Frozen Ground Truths \n  \nSusan Schuppli is a researcher and practitioner based in the United Kingdom\, whose work examines material evidence from war and conflict\, environmental disasters\, and climate change. \nShe works as a professor and director of the Centre for Research Architecture at Goldsmiths\, University of London\, where she is also an affiliate artist-researcher. \nIn addition\, Dr. Schuppli serves as board chair of Forensic Architecture\, a multidisciplinary research group that uses architectural techniques and technologies to investigate cases of state violence and violations of human rights around the world. \nHer recent documentary films focus primarily on climate change within the cryosphere and involve work with Earth scientists\, grassroots organizations\, and affected communities.
